Artist Comments

I am fascinated by the twisting and turnings of shaggy old eucalyptus trunks and have always wanted to do a painting of them. This painting started with a simple sketch and evolved from there. Painting ID #442. Juried into the 89th Annual Statewide California Landscape Exhibition in Santa Cruz CA, March 1 to April 14, 2019 where it received a second place award.
