I love the Russian River as it meanders through the hills of Northern California. This piece was inspired by a photo I took of the river from Steelhead Beach on a trip there in the fall a few years ago. This painting takes me there where I can smell the water, the willows, and the dry mustiness of fall grasses and brush awaiting for the first rains of the season. Painted on gallery wrapped canvas, the image continues on to the exposed sides. No frame is required. It has a wire and is ready to hang and enjoy. Available through gallery Feb. 29 - April 7, 2024.
