Filoli Arch October

Another day at the Filoli Estate in Woodside CA. I've been painting this scene since June and watching the changes in the hydrangeas and dogwoods. This was a gorgeous day in late October. Starting at around 3:30, I only had a couple hours  in this very shady location before the light was completely gone. When I left, all was in deep shadow and it was hard to remember the hints of sunlight that were there when I started.  Unframed. In-studio framing available. Painting ID #359.
