What a typical morning in the baylands of Palo Alto. Perfect for plein air painting. The coastal fog was lingering on the far hills, the tide was slowly running out, and student pilots were practicing their 'touch and goes' at the airport...or 'bumps and circuits' as they are called if you are British. I learned to fly at that airport, PAO, so the control tower has a special meaning for me. This one sits on the opposite side of the airport, but from my vantage point, it look like it was nestled in a field of blooming wild mustard. Lovely! Unframed. Framing available. Painting ID #287
